How to stop sharing a file or folder?

You can stop sharing a file or folder in Drime Drive to revoke access for all recipients.

On the web

  1. Log in to app.drime.cloud/drive.

  2. Locate the file or folder you want to stop sharing and right-click it (or tap the three-dot menu) and select Share.

  3. In the share settings, uncheck the option Shareable link is created.

  4. Remove any invited members if needed.

  5. The file or folder will no longer be accessible via the previous shared links.

On mobile (iOS or Android)

  1. Open the Drime app and navigate to the file or folder.

  2. Tap the three-dot menu and select Share.

  3. Uncheck the option Shareable link is created.

  4. Remove any invited members if applicable.

Notes

  • Stopping sharing does not delete the original file or folder.

  • You can create a new shareable link later if you want to share the file or folder again.

  • Changes take effect immediately for all recipients.
