How to set an expiration date for a shared link?

Updated over 4 months ago

You can set an expiration date for a shared link in Drime Drive, but this feature requires at least the Essentials plan.

On the web

  1. Right-click the file or folder you want to share and select Share.

  2. Generate a shareable link.

  3. Enable the Expiration date option and select the desired date.

  4. Copy the link and share it; it will become inactive after the selected date.

On mobile (iOS or Android)

  1. Open the Drime app and locate the file or folder.

  2. Tap the three-dot menu and select Share.

  3. Generate a shareable link and enable Expiration date.

  4. Choose the expiration date and confirm.

Notes

  • The expiration date feature is available only for users on the Essentials plan or higher.

  • After the expiration date, the link will no longer work, but the original file or folder remains in your Drive.

  • You can modify or remove the expiration date at any time from the share settings.
