How does two-way sync work?

Updated over 4 months ago

Two-way sync in Drime ensures that files and folders remain consistent between your devices and Drime Drive.

How it works

  1. When you add, edit, or delete a file on your device, the changes are automatically reflected in Drime Drive.

  2. When changes are made directly in Drime Drive (web or app), they are automatically synced back to your device.

  3. This ensures that the latest version of your files is available everywhere, regardless of where the change was made.

Notes

  • Two-way sync works for files stored in the synced folders on your desktop or mobile app.

  • Conflicts may occur if the same file is edited simultaneously on multiple devices; Drime usually keeps both versions and alerts you.

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection for timely syncing.

  • Deleted files are synced to the Trash, allowing recovery if needed.
