How to check version history of a file?

You can view the version history of a file in Drime Drive to track changes and restore previous versions if needed.

On the web

  1. Log in to app.drime.cloud/drive.

  2. Locate the file you want to check.

  3. Right-click the file (or tap the three-dot menu) and select Version history.

  4. A list of previous versions will appear with timestamps and editor information.

  5. Select a version to preview or restore it.

On mobile (iOS or Android)

  1. Open the Drime app and navigate to the file.

  2. Tap the three-dot menu next to the file.

  3. Select Version history.

  4. Review the available versions and choose to restore or view a previous version.

Notes

  • Restoring a previous version does not delete the current version; it becomes a new entry in the version history.

  • Version history is available only for files stored in Drime Drive and supported file types.

  • Keeping track of version history helps prevent accidental data loss and allows easy recovery of earlier edits.
