How secure is Drime?

Updated over 4 months ago

Drime prioritizes the security and privacy of your data through multiple layers of protection.

End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)

  • Drime Vault: Files stored in Drime Vault are encrypted on your device before upload, ensuring that only you have the decryption keys. Drime cannot access the contents of your Vault files.

  • Standard Drive: Files outside the Vault are encrypted server-side using AES 256-bit encryption.

Secure Data Transmission

  • All communications with Drime are encrypted using HTTPS (TLS), protecting your data while it is in transit between your devices and Drime servers.

Data Hosting and Compliance

  • Drime is fully compliant with GDPR, ensuring that personal data is handled legally and transparently.

  • Files are hosted exclusively in the EU (Paris, France & Amsterdam, Netherlands), adhering to European data protection laws.

Additional Security Measures

  • Anti-DDoS Protection: Systems are in place to prevent service disruption.

  • Access Controls: You can manage who has access to your files and workspaces and revoke access at any time.

  • Device Management: Monitor and manage devices connected to your account to maintain security.

In summary, Drime provides a secure cloud storage solution with strong encryption, strict regulatory compliance, and features to safeguard your account and files.
